ROBERT DEATON

Robert Deaton is the founding member of Southeast Apartment Investors and a managing member of Fat Pitch Capital, a private investment partnership.
Robert was also a founding member of Bennett Lawrence Management, a NY- based investment management company that grew to over $2 billion in assets under management during his tenure at the firm.
Robert holds an AB from Davidson College, an MBA from Vanderbilt University, and is a CFA charter holder.
Robert is an active member of numerous community organizations. He serves on the advisory board for the John M. Belk Scholarship at Davidson College and is the Co-chairman of the board of the Physicians’ Impact Fund. Robert has served as a past two-term member of both the Board of Visitors at Davidson College and the Davidson Athletic Foundation. He is the former Chairman of the board of the Novant Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation and the past treasurer of the Board of Trustees at The Fletcher School. In addition, he is also a past member of the Vanderbilt University School of Business Alumni Board.
DREW SUTTON

Drew Sutton is a partner at SAI and is primarily responsible for deal sourcing and execution.
Prior to joining SAI, Drew was an associate at Summit Park, a private investment firm focused on acquisitions of lower middle market businesses across a number of industries. Prior to Summit Park, Drew served as an analyst at Jefferies in the investment banking division.
Drew holds a BS from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Drew serves on the Advisory Board for the UVA Center for Real Estate and the Built Environment, and serves on the Real Estate Committee of Daly Seven, Inc., a hotel management and development company with over 40 properties located in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. Drew previously served on the Board of Directors of KindHeart, Inc., a medical device startup that was acquired by Intuitive Surgical, Inc.
